Substitute Registered Professional Nurse 2023-2024

Protecting and maintaining students health by providing professional nursing services in accordance with Nursing Standards and NYS licensing.
2.
Providing NYS mandated and annual screening programs including vision, hearing, height, weight and scoliosis.
3.
Facilitating NYS mandated immunization and communicable disease control requirements, as well as providing influenza immunization education.
4.
Identifying and assessing students health needs, implementing services and evaluating plans of care which impact student learning and achievement or safety.
5.
Participating as members of the schools multi-disciplinary team, interpreting medical data and writing objectives for the health component of the IEP and/or 504 plans.
6.
Acting as liaison between home and school, and community providers for medical issues.
7.
Identifying and reporting school building safety or environmental issues which impact student or staff health to the building administrator.
8.
Participating as members of the schools Core Safety Teams.
Job QualificationsEDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the State Education Department and/or program as qualifying as a NYS Registered Nurse.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
New York State drivers license.
Possession of a license issued by the State of New York to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and CPR (all ages) certification.
License and certification renewals are required for continued employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
