Hopewell Junction, NY Hopewell Junction, NY Full-time Full-time From $50,000 a year From $50,000 a year 11 days ago 11 days ago 11 days ago Quality Improvement Specialist This position will conduct comprehensive internal audits of all agency programs; prepare and distribute written reports; provide technical assistance in response to audits, surveys, etc.
, including creating Plans of Corrective Action; inform and guide compliance with new regulatory initiatives; maintain statistics and data related to trends, patterns, outcome measurement.
This position will also conduct investigations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and provide on-call back up in the absence of Director of QI and Compliance.
Full-time position, Monday - Friday with the ability to work part of the week from home.
Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality Assurance/Improvement position and previous experience with programs certified by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD); strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations as they pertain to our settings/programs and proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) a plus.
