Radiologic Technologist

PM Pediatrics is currently seeking an X-ray Technologist to work for our expanding pediatric urgent care. Under the direction of the Office Manager, this position will aid the clinical staff by performing various administrative and clinical duties.


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety

  • Develop and process radiological images

  • Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians

  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Immediately report any equipment malfunctions to supervisor

  • Maintain safe and clean examination environment

  • Stock radiologic and necessary office supplies

  • Work closely with the physician to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients

  • Assisting in rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and triage information

  • Collection of throat culture and assist in laboratory test

  • Graduate from an X-ray Tech program

  • Possess appropriate state licensure and ARRT certification, or temporary license

  • Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working with children

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Experienced with computers, and Microsoft Office

  • Willing to learn various types of medical software

  • Weekend and evening availability is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
