Equipment Maintenance Technician - MEA

Summaryof Role:
Equipment/MaintenanceTechnicians sustain and run the fab floor with primary responsibility ofresolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shiftpositions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providingtechnician support across all shifts.
EssentialResponsibilities:
Perform preventive and correctivemaintenance activities
Monitor,control, and qualify state of the art 300mm Metrology semiconductor equipment
Performcorrective actions to address error messages of factory systems and/orequipment
Processwafers using defined procedures
ReviewStatistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out ofControl conditions including defect troubleshooting
Perform,and teach others how to perform, visual inspections (quality check)
Recoverfrom process and tool interruptions
Identifyand address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability,cycle time, utilization and cost
Completeall required reporting and documentation
Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures andrequirements
Activelyparticipate in continuous improvement processes, learning and skillsdevelopment
Strongteam member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members asneeded and other duties as assigned
Performall activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental,Health, Safety& Security requirements and programs
RequiredQualifications:
Education - 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Electronics/Electromechanicalsystems, Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a relateddiscipline or equivalent military training/experience, or GED/high school plusrelevant work experience
Experience - Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience
LanguageFluency - Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
PhysicalCapacity Demands -Able to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule;including working in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor industry and GLOBALFOUNDRIES protocol/requirements,wearing all required clean room protective clothing and equipment throughout a12 hour day (excluding breaks) and lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodicbasis throughout the shift (preventive maintenance) and/or process issues; ableto perform work in a standing position for majority of a 12 hour shift(excluding breaks)
PreferredQualifications:
Equipment or process maintenance experience in semi-conductor manufacturing
Strongworking knowledge of electromechanical systems such as robotic wafer transfersystems, xy stage assemblies and pattern recognition visions systems.
Workingknowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systems
Able tooperate computer and system interface programs to ensure appropriate computingand analysis of production information
Able tofollow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and requireddocumentation; demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiringhigh level of attention to detail and timeliness
Strongteam member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members asneeded and other duties as assigned; able to handle multiple taskssimultaneously and prioritize activities
Proficiency with software applications, Microsoft Office, as well as specificprograms of SAP, MES, ASPECT; able to create reports and document procedures
Familiarity with Lean processes & activities and Kaizen teams
Strongtechnical skills and knowledge of semiconductor processing and processequipment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
